Jammu, Oct 31: SKUAST-Teaching Association Jammu (SKUAST-TAJ) accorded an emotive / warm farewell to Dr. Bimal Singh Jamwal Professor cum Chief Scientist (PBG) and Incharge Pulse Research Sub-Station, Samba on his superannuation after rendering distinguished services of 41 years. Director Research SKUAST-Jammu Dr. JP Sharma while appreciating Dr. Jamwal's contributions in teaching, research and extension selflessly wished him a very healthy post-retired life. President Teaching Association Dr. Vikas Sharma while listing Dr. Jamawal's achievements as an administrator and contributions in the discipline of Plant Breeding wished him a prosperous life after retirement. The advisors / office bearers of teaching association - Dr. RK Samnotra, Dr. Susheel Sharma, Dr. Vivak M Arya, Dr Jai kapoor, Dr. Poonam Parihaar, Dr Sanjay Khajuria, Dr. Vinod Gupta, also wished him luck. The proceedings of the programme was conducted by Executive of the association Dr. Anil Bhatt while formal vote of thanks was presented by Treasurer Dr. Rajeev Bharat. Besides, all the HODs, Faculty members, the function was attended by Dr. D. P.
