RS Pura, Nov 5: Govt. Degree College R. S. Pura organized Pagri Tying Competition in connection with the 'Celebration of 550th Birth Anniversary of Sri Guru Nanak Dev Ji' on the theme "Teaching of Sri Guru Nanak Dev Ji" under the guidance of Principal, Dr. Sunita Sudan and supervision of Prof Rajinder Singh, Convener, Organizing Committee.
Around 13 students participated in the event. Dr. Sukhdeep Singh Sasan presented the welcome address highlighting the concept of turban. Dr. Sukhdeep Singh Sasan and Prof. Vishal Sharma coordinated the Pagri Tying Competition. Dr. Rajinder Singh, Dr. Rajni Bala and Dr. Anuradha Judged the event. Jaspreet Singh and Jagjeet Singh of Semester-V were adjudged first, whereas Sarabjeet Singh (Sem.-I) and Gurvinder Singh (Sem.-V) Bagged second and third position respectively. All staff members graced the occasion and congratulated the students. Dr. Rajinder Singh presented formal vote of thanks. |
