JAMMU, Nov 5: Editor, Early Times, Munish Gupta, who would be contesting the forthcoming Assembly elections as an independent candidate from Gandhi Nagar constituency, on Tuesday asked people to put Jammu on the path of development by voting for the candidates who can deliver. Carrying forward his mass contact programme in Shastri Nagar, Munish said, “Winds of change have already started blowing and Jammu can not ignore these. We have to put our act together and give mandate to such people who will work with sincerity and dedication.” He said, “The report card of the leaders, who represented us during the past seven decades, is before us and all of us know it very well that our representatives failed to live upto our expectations. We need to sit back and think about whom we should elect.” Munish thanked people for endorsing his vision and extending their full support to his mass contact programme. “I assure the people that if I win the elections I will try my best to resolve all the issues which touch the skin of a common man and are of great importance to him. I hope my people will give me a chance to serve them so that we can together lay the foundation of new Jammu,” he added. |
