| Police nab 4 fraudsters involved in ATM frauds | | 20 ATM cards, cash recovered | |  Early Times Report
Kathua, Nov 5: In a major breakthrough against ATM Fraud cases, Police Station Rajbagh arrested 4 fraudsters involved in cheating innocent citizens looting their hard earned money using their ATM cards.
They were identified as Pankaj Kumar S/o Samer Singh R/o Village Pinjora Saharnpur UP, Sonu Kumar S/o Ramesh Chander R/o Village Laxmanpur Saharnpur UP, Jagmohan S/o Ajmer Singh R/o Anand Vihar Saharnpur UP and Deepak Sharma S/o Devi Lal R/o ITI colony Delhi Road Saharnpur UP. Police team of Police Station Rajbagh led by Inspector Manjeet Singh during checking duty intercepted one Maruti Breza car bearing registration no UK17H-3050 and seized 20 ATM cards of different banks. All were arrested as suspects in case FIR no. 53/2018 u/s 420, 379 RPC. During sustained questioning they disclosed that they targeted innocents especially old aged and women at ATM locations and withdrew money by swapping their ATM cards. They also disclosed their involvement in number of ATM frauds . Police also recovered cash of Rs 108500.
Further investigation into the case is going on. |
