Udhampur, Nov 5: With an endeavour to motivate the students of rural areas, facilitate in confidence building and promote talent, Indian Army organised a 'Quiz Competition' for students on the theme 'General Knowledge and General Awareness' at Government High School, Karwa.
The aim of the competition was to boost the general knowledge of the students on variety of subjects to include Science, Geography, Mathematics, Sports and Current Affairs.
The students took part in the competition with full zeal, enthusiasm and showcased their talent. Indian Army motivated the students to study and to be active contributors to nation's social and cultural growth.
Prizes were awarded to the enthusiastic participants to boost their morale and to keep up their indomitable spirit. The event proved to be another milestone in fostering bond of friendship between the local populace and the men in uniform. |
