| BMS hails Union government schemes | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Dec 18: Bhartia Mazdoor Sangh (BMS) today welcomed that many of its demands and suggestions raised during consultation have been incorporated in the new Code on Social Security, 2019 presented in the Parliament.
BMS hailed the incorporation of new social security code, which will empower the central government to extend ESI to any hazardous occupation even when only a single employee is engaged. The code has extended coverage of ESI to those employing less than 10 though on a voluntary basis instead of opting out from ESI beside other benefits. |
