RAJOURI, Dec 18: District Development Commissioner, Mohammad Nazir Sheikh today conducted an inspection of Rajouri market to review the overall condition of the town in terms of hygiene, condition of the streets,. The DDC was accompanied by Senior Superintendent of Police Yougal Manhas, Assistant Commissioner Revenue, Mohd Ashraf, Tehsildar Rajouri, Sheraz Chouhan, Assistant Food Supplies, Mukhtar Ahmed Lone, Assistant Labour Commissioner, Angrez Singh, Assistant Commissioner Food Safety, Ajeet Singh and other concerned district and sectoral officers.
During the visit, the DDC asked the shopkeepers to prominently display rate lists, keep shops neat and clean and ensure that all package commodities sold to consumers must bear MRP, Package date, Net Content, complete address and consumer care number.
He directed the concerned officer from Municipality to maintain cleanliness and sanitation in the town. He also instructed the Assistant Director FCS&CA and concerned officer from Food Safety to intensify market checking and submit a report on a regular basis. |
