JAMMU, Dec 18: Financial Commissioner, Health and Medical Education, Atal Dulloo visited Community Health Centres (CHC) of R S Pura and Bishnah and reviewed the healthcare services available for the patients there.
During the visit, the FC interacted with doctors, health professionals and took stock of treatment facilities, quality of medicines, functioning of machines and equipment and medical cases.
At R S Pura, he inspected pace of the work on the new building. He set ending December as deadline for completion of the work and shifting of the CHC to the new building. He asked the authorities to see that all the facilities are made available to the patients and directed the management to make procurement of equipments from the Jammu Kashmir Medical Supplies Corporation Limited. Later, he visited Community Health Centre at Bishnah and inquired about the facilities available to the patients, availability of medical officers and infrastructure at the CHC.
The FC also inspected the Pradhan Mantri Jan Aushadi Kendras at both the CHCs and enquired about the availability of medicines at the store. |
