Shiv Sena stages protest against Traffic police | | | Early Times Report Jammu, Dec 20: Leaders of Shiv Sena Bala Sahib Thackrey Jammu and Kashmir unit protested against administration and traffic police officers at Jammu today demanding improvement in traffic system and fixing the accountability of traffic officers. Shiv Sena Jammu and Kashmir unit president Manish Sahni said that how strong is the claim of Prime Minister Narendra Modi to make Jammu a smart city, it can be gauged by the traffic system of Jammu. All roads in the city are jammed at intersections, passenger shadows have been built three times since 2005, but even today the connivance of traffic police is that Matador drivers can apply the brakes wherever they want. All the top officers sit in their office and only conduct meetings and only on the VIPs movement they come out from their rooms. Sahni said that the traffic system cannot be improved until the accountability of the posted traffic officer is decided. At the same time, Sahni said that if the police administration is not able to fix it, then let the traffic system of the city be handed over to the Shiv sanik for a month, we will show how it can be improved. After the demonstration, the Shiv Sena leader submitted a memorandum to the IG Traffic Police regarding their above demands. |
