IAS, IPS officers serving in J&K to get TA at par with central employees | | | Early Times Report Jammu, Dec 20: After turning J&K into Union Territory (UT), Union Government has decided to give Travelling Allowance (TA) to members of the All India Services as per with employees of central government. On Friday, Finance Department issued an order regarding TA in favour of members of All India Services serving in the Union Territory of J&K. It was mentioned in the order that, "It is hereby ordered that TA entitlements of the Members of All India Services, serving in the Union Temtory of Jammu and Kashmir, shall be at par with Central Government Employees and shall be regulated in accordance with Office Memorandum No 19030/ 1/20 17-E.IV dated 13-07-2017 read with Office Memorandum of even No. dated 01-02-2018 issued by the Department of Expenditure, Ministry of Finance". As per new order, IAS and IPS officers serving in UT of J&K will more TA because TA being given to central government employees is higher than J&K government. |
