JAMMU, Dec 20: Athletics events for Boys/Men Section under "Khelo India" Phase III Sports for Peace and Development, concluded here today at University Ground, Jammu.
District Administration, Jammu in collaboration with Department of Youth Services and Sports and District Police Administration, Jammu under the chairmanship of Sushma Chauhan, District Development Commissioner Jammu organized Sports activities for Peace and Development under "Khelo India"- Phase - III, centrally sponsored scheme, Govt of India for Students/Non-Students Under 17 & 19 yrs for Boys, Girls, Men and Women in Athletics..
The competitions were organized under the patronage of Dr. Saleem-ur-Rehman, Worthy Director General, Youth Services & Sports J&K, Srinagar and under the supervision of Sh. Madan Lal, Joint Director, Youth Services & Sports Jammu whereas Sh. Sukhdev Raj Sharma, District Youth Services & Sports officer Jammu, is the Organising Secretary of this Mega Event.
On the concluding day of Boys/Men Section, the competitions were also concluded in smooth and successful manner in the presence of Zonal Physical Education officers/ Physical Education Lecturers/ Physical Education Masters/Teachers of District Jammu. The Certificates and medals were also distributed by Sukhdev Raj Sharma, DYSSO Jammu the among the players at the venue. |
