RAJOURI, Dec 20: 70th Seminar on Gandhian philosophy of non-violence, truth and promotion of communal harmony as well as national integration held in the premises of Govt Girls Higher Secondary School, Nowshera. The seminar was arranged by Lekh Raj Raina, a social activist of the area under the chairmanship of Addl SP Nowshera Girdhari Lal Sharma as chief guest while Brijesh Sharma, SDPO Nowshera as guest of honour. Principal Anil Kumar Gujral and staff members of the school along with 400 students participated. Six students spoke on the subject with their poems, songs and speeches highlighting the message of father of nation such as non-violence, truth and communal harmony. Chief Guest Girdhari Lal Sharma, Addl SP Nowshera, Brijesh Sharma and other dignitaries on the stage also stressed upon the gathering that being the citizen of a secular and vast country it is the responsibility of every citizen of the society to work for peace, brotherhood and unity for the progress of the country. |
