JAMMU, Dec 20: A Quiz Competition for Identification of Contingent for "Ek Bharat Sreshta Bharat (KGB) Abhiyan" under RUSA was held at Government College for Women, Parade Ground Jammu.
Under this programme, J&K State were paired with Tamil Nadu for Student Exchange. Fifty students of various courses were selected for Student Exchange under EBSB programme by conducting a quiz competition based on general knowledge about the paired state Tamil Nadu.
Earlier, a movie was shown for introducing the culture, heritage and demography of Tamil Nadu to the students of EBSB club by the Coordinator EBSB, Dr. Preeti Dubey in presence of Principal of College Dr. Chander Shekher, EBSB State Co-ordinator, Dr.Asif and HoD Computer Science, Prof. Roopali Jernwal.
Dr. Chander Shekher appreciated the initiative of MHRD and encouraged the students for participation in such programmes, as this will boost their confidence and help them in their overall development and provide by exposure to them. |
