JAMMU, DECEMBER 21: Divisional Commissioner, Sanjeev Verma today directed Deputy Commissioners of Jammu division to identify suitable state land for development of industries in the districts of division.
He issued these directions while chairing a meeting with DCs convened to discuss mapping of cluster of land and review of Jal Shakti Abhiyan. The Div Com asked DCs to conduct joint visits and submit the details of land in his office.
Div Com also reviewed the implementation of Jal Shakti Abhiyan in Jammu division. The DCs apprised him about the activities being done in their respective districts for water conservation.
The meeting was attended by Chief Conservator of Forest, Director Industries, Commissioner JMC, Director RDD, Director Urban Local Bodies, ADDC Jammu, ADC Jammu besides senior functionaries of PHE, social welfare and other concerned departments while Deputy Commissioners of Jammu division along with other concerned officers attended the meeting through video conferencing. |
