JTC seeks political reservation, safe & secure rehabilitation in valley | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Dec 21: A meeting of Jagti Tenement Committee and Soan Kashmir Front J&K was held under the Chairmanship of Shadi Lal Pandita. In this meeting Pandita has said that now more than 30 years have passed when the Kashmiri Pandit community was forced for enmass migration from their native localities in Kashmir valley and to migrate to Jammu and other parts of the Country. Pandita said that the Permanent Rehabilitation of Migrant Community in Kashmir valley at safe and secure places at Srinagar Kashmir. In order to ensure permanent rehabilitation of the Kashmiri Pandit migrant community in Kashmir valley at safe and secure places be identified for bringing up three townships in Kashmir valley near Srinagar city. One township for Kashmiri Pandit who are hailing from districts of Anantnag, Kulgam, Shopian and Pulwama at one place in between Pampore and Anantnag. Political Reservation for Kashmiri Pandit Community, as there is no political reservation for the Kashmiri Pandit Community and our voice is not raised by any elected- MLA/Parliament member of the community in Assembly and at Parliament levels thus there is absolute need of three Assembly Seats and one Parliamentary seat be reservation for the Kashmiri Migrant Pandit Community, Who can conduct the election on the vote of Kashhmiri Pandit Community. In order to ensure proper political representation of the community in the J&K State Legislature as well Community, one Assembly seat for the Kashmiri Pandits who are hailing from the Districts of Baramulla, Kupwara and Bandipura. |
