Jammu, Dec 21: Department of Youth Services and Sports organised Sports Activities for Peace and Development under "Khelo India"- Phase-III, centrally sponsored scheme, Govt. of India for Students/ Non-Students Under 17 & 19 yrs for Boys, Girls, Men and Women in Athletics.
The competitions were earlier organised under the patronage of Dr. Saleem-ur-Rehman, Worthy Director General, Youth Services and Sports J&K, Srinagar and under the supervision of Madan Lal, Joint Director, Youth Services and Sports Jammu whereas Sukhdev Raj Sharma, District Youth Services & Sports officer Jammu, was the Organising Secretary of this Mega Event.
On the concluding day of Girls/Women Section, the competitions were also concluded in smooth and successful manner. Sukhdev Raj Sharma, DYSSO Jammu was the Guest of Honour and thanks the Police Administration, University Administration and Print Media, technical officials and other officials of the department for their valuable cooperation during this mega event. |
