| P.G. College Rajouri celebrates National Mathematics Day | | |  Rajouri, Dec 21: Govt. PG College Rajouri celebrated Nation Mathematics Day by organizing and inter college symposium on Mathematics. Students from GDC Thanamandi, GDC Darhal, GDC Koteranka and PG College Rajouri participated in the symposium. Shafeeq Ahmed of PG College Rajouri bagged first position whereas Imtiaz Ali and Waseem Akram of GDC Darhal and GDC Koteranka clinched 2nd and 3rd positions respectively.
Principal of the College Prof. (Dr.) Shakeel Ahmed Raina presided over the function and also gave a power point presentation on life and work of great Indian Mathematician Ramanajun. Dr. Mohd Akhlaq HOD Mathematics presented welcome address and Prof. Khalid Hussain Bhatti faculty member of mathematics presented formal vote of thanks. Dr. Y.P. Sharma, Dr. Taseem Ahmed and Prof. Haroon Rashid acted as judges for the symposium. Large number of students and staff attended the programme. |
