| Awareness camp under SBM held | | |

VIJAYPUR, Dec 21: An Awareness camp under the component of Swachh Bharat Mission (SBM) commenced here today. The camp was organized by Housing and Urban Development Department (H&UDD) and Directorate of Urban Local Bodies Jammu which is the implementing agency to implement IEC activities and spread awareness with regard to solid waste management in all UL's of Jammu Division. Municipal Committee Vijaypur selected the venues for conduct of the events. The events were executed by Newsline NGO, which is empanelled by H&UDD to conduct IEC activities under SBM(U).
The team Newsline (NGO) along with Municipal Committee Vijaypur conducted varied events under IEC component of SBM, which include open painting competition and quiz competition at B B N institute Vijaypur. A walkathon, an awareness drive in market and its adjacent areas, a cleanliness drive in educational institutes and a Nukkad natak will be performed on December 23. at Ramgarh road Vijaypur main bazar Nukkad Natak which will be performed by the well-Known artists of Theatre. |
