| Shaheed DySP Manjit Singh Volleyball Tournament commences | | |  Early Times Report
POONCH, Dec 25: Continuing with the mission of providing platform to the talented youth with the objective of channelizing their energy/talent in a positive manner, District Police Poonch has organized Shaheed Manjeet Singh Volleyball Tournament which commenced today in Sports Stadium Poonch under Civic Action Programme.
The volleyball tournament was inaugurated by IGP Jammu zone Mukesh Singh who was accompanied by Vivek Gupta Rajouri Poonch Range, Ramesh Angral (JKPS) Ssp Poonch in presence of large number of prominent citizens and volleyball game lovers.
The inaugural match was played between Shaheed Manjeet Singh Volleyball Club and Pinto Volleyball Club which was won by Pinto volleyball club.
Speaking on the occasion IGP Jammu zone Mukesh Singh Poonch said that the Jammu and Kashmir Police is providing platform to the youth for displaying their talent which helps in channelizing their energy in a positive manner.
He exhorted upon the gathering especially youth to contribute for maintaining the integrity, sovereignty and communal harmony of the great democracy of the world.
Beside this sports kits which includes volleyball kits, hockey kits, football kits, cricket kits were also distributed among the youth by IGP Jammu. |
