| Schools violate DSE orders on timings | | | Ashwani Sharma

Udhampur, Dec 27: In utter violations of the orders by Director School Education (DSE) many schools in udhampur town are following the timings as per their own convenience.
Pertinent to mention is that as the weather in Jammu has turned inclement due to chilling winters, few days back the DSE has ordered all the schools in Jammu province to observe new timings from 23rd to 28th of 10:00 am to 3:00 pm with in municipal limit and 11:00 am to 4:00 pm outside of the municipal limits with immediate effect upto 28-12-2019. Many schools in the town are still opening at 8:30 and closing at the old time and the children are having very tough time in this chilling weather.
Locals of rural area like Rathian , bun , Nagrota etc said that schools in their areas are not following the new timings and their children are falling sick as they can't bear the inclement weather. Locals have urged to the DSE jammu and chief education officer(CEO) udhampur to instruct the erring schools and take actions against them. |
