10+2 Contractual Lecturers seek secured job policy | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Dec 27: Seeking a secured job policy in their favour, the agitating 10+2 Contractual Lecturers said that nobody has paid any attention towards their genuine demand so far. Protesters said that they are on the agitation path since February 2017 but it is pity that the administration has not paid any heed to their demands. They had series of meetings with previous Govt, /bureaucrats but no one showed any concern towards the pending demands of 10+2 Contractual lecturers, protesting lecturers said. Pankaj Sharma President of the Forum, said that they had a meeting with Advisor to Lieutenant Governor KK Sharma and apprised him about the matter. A Committee has been constituted to examine all the academic arrangements in various departments but it won't solve the issue as so many times committees have been formed in the past without any purposeful result adding that a report has never been submitted by such committees. Sharma appealed the Lieutenant Governor, Advisors to Lieutenant Governor, Chief Secretary and all committee members including chairman of the committee to frame a future secure job policy so that they may not suffer any more. |
