| JD (U) leader calls on Lt Governor, discusses several issues | | |  Early Times Report
Jammu, Dec 27: Janta Dal (United) JD (U) J&K Chief G M Shaheen today met LT Governor Girish Chandra Murmu at Raj Bhawan Jammu and discussed several issues and problems being faced by the people of J&K including development and restoration of internet services in J&K since post abrogation of Article 370 and 35A in August 5, 2019.
Shaheen while speaking to media outside the Raj Bhawan Jammu revealed that various issues and problems related to the expectations of people were shared with Lt Governor who giving patient hearing to entire problems and miseries of the people being faced by them. Shaheen added that he also discussed present political strategies and challenges in J&K including development issues which are still unaddressed by the government since August 5. He further urged upon the Lt Governor to restore internet services in J&K hassle free as far as tourism sector, to streamline education system including business transaction are concerned which are badly affected after post Abrogation of Article 370 and 35 A on August 5. He added that LT Governor assured to restore internet services in J&K in phase manner keeping in view of present demands of the people. "LT Governor assured to address the issues and problems including development, road connectivity in snow bound areas of J&K and to streamline the power supply after unprecedented snowfall and rain other related problems. |
