Action initiated against 24 Govt employees for remaining absent | | | Early Times Report Srinagar, Dec 29: Action has been initiated against 24 Agriculture department employees for remaining absent from their duties in Kashmir valley. Officials on Sunday said that Director Agriculture Kashmir Syed Altaf Aijaz Andrabi on Saturday conducted a surprise visit of Seed Multiplication Farm, Padgampora. "During the visit he found 24 employees absent from duties and directed Joint Director Agriculture Inputs to initiate disciplinary action against the absentees," they said. Meanwhile, the Director inspected processing plant at Seed Multiplication Farm, Padgampora and enquired about the processing of paddy seeds being dispatched to districts. The Director instructed the officers of the centre to work with dedication and achieve the target of seed treatment, packing and dispatching to the farmers in a time bound manner, so that the quality seed is provided to them. The Director also inspected the site identified for erecting hi-tech Poly-Houses at Agriculture Extension Office Haal Pulwama, were four Kanals of state land is being utilized for installation of hi-tech green house under CAPEX-2019 for showcasing and promoting the vegetable cultivation in the area. |
