Early Times Report Jammu, Jan 7: National Awami United Party (NAUP) led by its state general secretary staged a protest against the recent vandalism and mob attack on the Gurdwara Nankana Sahib, the birth place of Guru Nanak Sahib, here outside the Press Club. The NAUP activists burnt an effigy of Pakistan Prime Minister Imran Khan and accused Pakistan for ill-treating minorities. Ankur Gupta said that they would never tolerate desecration of Guru Nankana Sahib and forewarned that Pakistan has to pay a heavy price for this despicable act. He stated that again a Sikh man Rowinder Singh was killed by Pakistan and appealed to the world, community to punish Pakistan as its existence is a danger to humankind. Prominent who participated included Rakesh Singh, Chintan Gupta, Pankaj Langoo, Om Raj Rana, Puneet Bhan, Bansi Lal, Bodh Raj, and many others. |
