Jammu, Jan 07: M Raju, Secretary Power Development Department called on the Lieutenant Governor, Girish Chandra Murmu at the Raj Bhavan here today.
Raju discussed with the Lt Governor wide ranging issues related to power sector including revenue realization, speedy constitution of Board of Directors for newly established corporations, yearly regularization of Engineers and their Assured Career Progression.
The Lt Governor directed the Secretary, PDD for ensuring uninterrupted power supply during the winter season, especially in snow bound areas to avoid any in-convenience to the public. He further directed him for ensuring proper implementation of various power projects under Deendayal Upadhyaya Gram Jyoti Yojana (DDUGJY) and Integrated Power Development Scheme (IPDS). |
