JKPCC condemns Nankana Sahib incident | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Jan 7: Minority Department of Jammu and Kashmir Pradesh Congress Committee has strongly condemned the desecration of Gurdwara Nankana Sahib, the birth place of Guru Nanak Dev Ji in Pakistan and asked government of India to put pressure on Pakistan to take strict action against culprits. Interacting with the media personnel here today Vice Chairman JKPCC Minority Department S. Gurdarshan Singh, Michael Wazir, S. Gajan Singh, S. Dalbir Singh, Mian Nazir Ahmed, S. Parveen Singh, S. Jagjeet Singh , S. Balwinder Singh, G.S. Sudan and Manpreet Singh have expressed serious concern over the repeated incidents of killings, abductions and attacks on religious places and now the world famous Gurdwara Nankana Sahib, the birth place of Guru Nanak Dev Ji. They strongly condemned that the kidnapping of minority communities girls, Killing of Sikh Youth Parvinder Singh in Peshawar by the unidentified miscreants. They expressed strong resentment over the incident of attack by some miscreants at Nankana Sahib the birth place of Shri Guru Nanak Dev Ji and the failure of the Pakistan government to contain radical groups. They said Pakistan is failed state because of its fundamentalists approach adopted by that country from very beginning. They said that ensuring the safety and security of minorities and protecting their religious and civil rights is the foremost duty of any country without which is cannot sustain and maintain peace and progress. This is the reason that Pakistan could never sustain as a successful democracy as compared to India because of its fanatic outlook. They asked government of India to put international pressure and use its good offices against Pakistan to ensure the safety and security of minorities and their religious places in that country and prevent such kinds of condemnable attempts by the radical groups and mischievous elements enjoying patronage of the government machinery. |
