| 3 more OGWs arrested by Police | | | Jammu Jan 7: After arresting two OGWs on Saturday, Kishtwar Police today claim to have arrested three more OGWs who were involved in providing logistical support, financial support and other to the longest surviving Hizb militant commander Mohammad Amin Butt alias Jahingir Saroori and his two other associates Raiz & Muddasir.
Senior Police officer identified the three arrested militants as Khazir Mohammad Sheikh Resident of Swarbati, Bashir Ahmed Sheikh Resident of Swarbati and Zahoor Ahmed Butt Resident of Loharna in Dachhan area of Kishtwar District. With these arrest Kishtwar police so far arrested five OGWs out of 10 OGWs booked in FIR No. 1 of Police station Dachhan. The sources told the Early Times that police team under the supervision of Dy. SP HQ Kishtwar Sunny Gupta made the arrest of the three OGWs.
Two OGWs Bashir Ahmed and Wali Mohammad has already been arrested while the hunt is on to arrest five remaining OGWs named in the FIR register at Police Station Dachhan. |
