| Surankote plunges into dark, PDD fails restore power supply | | |  Early Times Report
MENDHAR, Jan 8: Surankote people are up in arms against PDD as they are being deprived of electricity supply for the last couple of days.
Residents of the afore Told Shree time including ,Beophar mandal chairman Tariq Manhas, Bashar Bhat, Ifran Malik, Khalil Ahmed, Farman Khawaja, said that they are not getting Electricity supply for the last few days and concerned department is paying no heed towards this issue. The protestor Chanting the slogan against the PDD deptt, The villagers alleged that the PDD field staff of the area was requested several times, but it failed to restore power supply but they were continuously receiving hefty power bills which is mockery. They further said they approached AE PDD over the issue and the said official directed concerned lineman for the same days have passed the problem has not been rectified. They warned that if Electricity supply is not restored within one days they will come on road against PDD in a big way and also demanded transfer of said lineman.
