Early Times Report Nowshera, Jan 11: J&K Handicap Welfare Association (JKHWA) highlighted several demands of the community and widows and appealed the deputy commissioner to address the same. Sr Vice president appealed District Development Commissio-ner (DDC) Mohamood Nazir Sheikh Rajouri to consider their demands, which include construction of social welfare office at Nowshera , which is working from a private building and not approachable. He appealed the DDC to construct the same on state land, which should be easily approachable for the community. Moreover a camp for fitting artificial limbs be organised at Nowshera, while other items such as hearing aid, wheel chair beside others should be provided. A medical board of district level must be constituted at Nowshera headquarter for issuing disablity certificates for the needy. DC Rajouri assured for early redressal of the demands. |
