RS PURA, Jan 11: Lohri was celebrated with school children by organizing a colorful program on Saturday in New Public, Brilliant Secondary School to celebrate Lohri.
Lohri the festival was celebrated with enthusiasm by the school staff and students by skating Sanskrit programs and humor in the school premises. The principal of the school Parmod Khajuria was present in the main. The staff and students gathered in one place and danced to the songs of Lohri.
And according to the tradition of Lohri, the children made revolutions, sesame seeds, corn, churda and lit a fire on a pile of wood and circled it by offering it to Lohri. Congratulating the countrymen of the sacred festival of Lohri, he said that Lohri is the heritage of Indian culture, and the purpose of such a program in the school is to get children exposed to festivals. School children including school teachers Nina Khajuria, Balbir Kaur, Lovely Chib, Asha Chaudhary, Sheetal Khajuria, Sonia, Pooja, Anu Bhagat, Mamta Devi were also present on the occasion.
