Jammu, Jan 11: Mohan Singh Slathia along with Voice of Dogra team celebrated Lohri with Sunrise Public School Channi Himmat Jammu.
Slathia described the story of Dogra Culture and explain the Hiran dance. “Then the real story behind Hiran dance during Ramayana in which demon Mareech played the role of Hiran when demon Ravana wants to kidnap the Devi Sita and why we celebrate the lohri”, Slathia informed the audience.
Manpreet Kour Founder Director of the School said, “We are providing free education, Free Uniform, Free Books and refreshment of the weaker section of the society from 2012. Main Motto of the school each and every child should get the education.”
