Jammu, Jan 11: Chairman Aadarsh Bhartiya Samaj (ABS) a Social Volunteer Organisation Col (Retd) R K Sharma and S Daljeet Singh-President raised concerns about public service. Col Sharma said that the society is facing scarcity of pure drinking water, dilapidated condition of the roads in and around, worst condition of the sewerage-drainage a system in the locality invites breeding of mosquitoes resulting dengue, viral diseases a great threat to the lives, shortage of electricity, frequent cuts hampered the study of students, the problem of solid wastes became the obstacle in cleanliness and beautification of the area. No provision for cleanliness and dustbins from JMC being a part of ward 73. Moreover, ABS puts forth the genuine long pending grievances of the society and demanded Mini Stadium, Primary Health Centre, Government Girls Higher Secondary School, Government Degree College, Post office with banking facilities, Ambulance service, Snan Ghat and protection wall at Shamshaan Ghat, Botanical, Herbal garden, Science park, Drugs de-addiction center. ABS reiterated to draw the attention of concerned department and requested Hon’ble Lt Governor to pass the suitable directions to the concerned to resolve the issues immediately before the condition worsen. |
