Several amendments to be made in future in national interest: Sunil Ambekar | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, Jan 15: A seminar on "Realizing the ethos of Indian Constitution'' and a book launch programme of author Sunil Ambekar, was organized by Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP) Jammu Kashmir in Radisson Blu, Jammu. Sunil Ambekar, former National Organizing Secretary of ABVP, whose book ''The RSS: Roadmaps for the 21st century'' was released on the occasion, was the chief guest. The programme was welcomed by Dr AP Singh, Jammu Mahanagar President ABVP further followed by Dr Virender Koundal who introduced the book written by Sunil Ambekar. He focused on the basic content the book carried within. The people from different section of the society witnessed the seminar. In the seminar, Sunil Ambekar focused on the nature and basics of the Indian Constitution. He said that human relations are the basis of Indian culture from thousands of years and it is these human relations that have made the constitution feasible for one and all. He said that we Indians have already been open and accepting towards all and there was no need to add secularism and socialism in the constitution in the 70s just to define our values because we were already practical in being caring and accepting towards people from every section of the society, considering the whole world as a family; the feeling of ''Vasudev Kutumbkam''. He also talked about article 370 and appreciated its scrapping, said that it was a hurdle in the development of Jammu Kashmir and the spirit of Nationalism. He also touched the recent amendments and asked that CAA was the great thing one could do to depict the accepting nature of Bharat, several other amendments are going to come in future which are going to be in National Interest that will truly represent the Indian Constitutional ethos.
