Raina re-elected J&K BJP President

JAMMU, Jan 15: Ravinder Raina is re-elected for the prestigious post of J&K BJP President amidst massive gathering of more than 2500 enthusiastic BJP activists here today at party headquarter, Trikuta Nagar.
Raina was re-elected in the presence of Observer for J&K BJP President’s Organizational Elections Dr Harshvardhan (Union Minister) accompanied by BJP National Secretary Tarun Chugh and was presented Certificate, Mata Ki Chunri, Pagdi and also welcomed with massive garlands.
It is worthwhile to notice that the BJP is conducting nationwide organizational elections since last 3 months and senior leaders Varinderjit Singh and Munish Sharma were entrusted to supervise the organizational elections in the state from booth President to State President as State Incharge and Co-Incharge respectively.
MP (Lok Sabha) Jugal Kishore Sharma, MP (Rajya Sabha) Shamsher Singh Manhas, former Dy. CMs Dr Nirmal Singh and Kavinder Gupta, BJP General Secretary (Org.) Ashok Kaul, former President Ashok Khajuria, Mayor Chander Mohan Gupta, former Ministers Sat Sharma, A G Kohli, Chander Prakash Ganga, Sukhnandan Choudhary, Dr DK Manyal, Sham Choudhary, Bali Bhagat, Shakti Parihar, Ajay Nanda and Priya Sethi, State General Secretaries Dr Narinder Singh, Yudhvir Sethi and Sunil Sharma, Chief Spokesperson Sunil Sethi (Adv.), Sham Lal Sharma and other senior party leaders were also present on the occasion.
Dr Harshvardhan, while congratulating Ravinder Raina on the occasion, complimented him for the prestigious post and termed him as a powerful voice of the BJP in the State.
Dr Harshvardhan, said that today we have witnessed the accomplishment of a decades old dream for the prevalence of peace and prosperity in the J&K. He remembered the time in 1984, when Atal ji announced that we have lost the elections, but not our courage and with that spirit we achieved many milestones with the dedication of our activists.
Ravinder Raina, overwhelmed with the love and support shown to him by all party leaders and activists thanked them for the faith they have entrusted in him for the task. he said that the past 1 year and 8 months were full of challenges for him as the State President of the party, but he took it as the God’s work and put his all efforts in the accomplishment of the basic duties. He also congratulated all the party workers for the great achievements in all the elections in the past 1 and half year right from Panchayat to ULB as well as Parliament.
On the occasion, Raina also remembered all the BJP activists, persons and the security personnel who sacrificed their lives for the Nation.
“It was never my intention to do something out of league, but it was out of instinct that got the work done by my hands”, Raina said and thanked all the senior leaders, his team, party activists and everyone from every corner of Jammu, Kashmir and Ladakh for the task he was entrusted with.
