Havildar Roshan Lal Memorial Volleyball Tourney begins

Jammu, Feb 3: Second Volleyball Tournament in the memory of Havildar Roshan Lal gets underway at Govt High School Nichla, on the occasion of Martyrdom Day of Havildar Roshan Lal.
The tournament the tournament was inaugurated by Chairman Block Development Council Ghagwal. Vijay Tagotra.
Earlier, Chairman unfurled National Flag and paid tributes to the Martyr Havildar Roshan Lal at his Memorial situated in the Govt High School Nichla in the presence of Sarpanches, Panchs, SHO Ghagwal Sudhir, Des Raj father of Martyr, Darshan Kumar, Sunny Prashar, Karam Chand brothers of Martyr, Headmaster Sh. Subash Sharma and many other prominent people.
Havildar Roshan Lal was martyred at Bhimbergali of Rajouri District today.
The opening match was played between Marheen and Mela Clubs in which Mela trounced Marheen by 2-1 sets and second match was played between Gurah Mundian and Kootah in which Gurah Mundian outplayed Kootah by 2-1 sets.
In first semifinal, Taloor Volleyball Club Punjab outplayed Mela. The second semifinal will be played between Gurah Mundian and SSG Hiranagar.
The Martyrdom Day shall be observed tomorrow.
Dewan Khajuria, Jag Ram, Jasbir Singh, Ajay Kumar, Navjot Sharma, Uttam Singh PEM, Narinder Choudhary, Ganesh Dass were also present on the occasion.
