RBA delegation meets Farooq Khan

Jammu, Feb 3: A two member delegation of RBA peoples from Jammu led by Social activist Kewal Sharma and President Jammu Shour-vir-Sanghthan Beer Singh met advisor to Governor Farooq Khan to put forth their long pending demands for reducing the time gap of 15 years for newly married females from Non RBA to RBA area, Kewal Sharma demanded for married women of RBA shall be issued RBA certificate after 5 years of their marriage in that particulars area instead of 15 years.
Particularly for women income bar for issuance of RBA certificate shall be removed and validity period of RBA certificate shall be raised from 5 years to 15 years for the sake of backward peoples who have to move from one place to another place for issuance of the same. The Advisor gave a patient hearing to the deletion and assured that he will look into the matter for an early redressed after meeting with Advisor Kewal Sharma said that in order to privilege to the women folk of RBA area, he said there is dire need to remove afore said Govt. order to provide equality in the society for up-liftmen Kewel Sharma said right of more thenlaks of women living in more than 1500 villages of Jammu and Kashmir are infringed but on the other said the Govt. of India is providing reservation to women in all fields.
