JAMMU, Feb 3: Career Abacus Coaching Center, a leading abacus teaching institute in Jammu, today awarded prizes to its meritorious students in a function held in auditorium of Government Polytechnic College, Jammu. Mayor, Jammu Municipal Corporation (JMC), Chander Mohan Gupta was the Chief Guest and Neelam Khajuria, Joint Director Tourism, Arun Khanna, Corporator Rehari and Surinder ChoudharyCorporator Shakti Nagar were the Guests of Honour on the occasion. The function started with lighting of ceremonial lamp by the Chief Guest followed by welcome address by Samridhi Mahajan. A demo of little kids was conducted by Shruti Gupta which left the audience spell bound with the speed and accuracy of kids. The parents were highly appreciated the quality of education being imparted by the institute. EdhaBadyal and Arman Gupta informed the parents about the advantages of abacus skill. Magic show was conducted by magician who entertained guests, parents and children. Kanan Mahajan, VibhaKatyal, Samaniya Sharma and Awaika Sharma were given the graduation degrees for completion of course. They shared their views about their whole journey with Career Abacus Coaching center. Chief Guest was highly impressed by the demo of students and stressed upon parents to teach this kind of skill to each and every child. Director of Career Abacus Coaching center, Atul Gupta thanked the parents for their support. He informed the parents about the playway school Building Blocks International preschool being managed by their educational society is also imparting quality education to the young toddlers as they are running this playway school on no profit no loss basis. He said that abacus not only helps in improving the arithmetical skills but it improves the memory, listening skills, imagination, creativity, self reliance and above all half confidence of the students. The function was managed by SabhaChoudhary, Aakarshan Mahajan, Rajneesh Gupta, AnuradhaSaraf and SunitaDabur. Heads of branches PawanWadhera, Shruti Gupta, Neelam Sudan, Kanchan Gupta, Madhu Sharma and Gagandeep Sharma were given mementoes. Function concluded with the singing of National Anthem.
