2/5/2020 9:12:05 PM
Early times Report

Jammu, Feb 5: Expressing serious concern over the dilapidated condition of Mantalai-Dudu road, PCC Secretary Narinder Sharma has taken strong exception to the publicity stunts of central ministers who laid foundation stones of already ongoing work of this road at snails pace.
Addressing series of meetings in Marothi, Pundal and Latti-Duna areas, secretary, Pradesh Congress Committee, Narinder Sharma described the recently concluded visits of central ministers to state and especially in district Udhampur as mockery with poor populace. He said villagers are deprived of basic facilities, even the roads are in dilapidated conditions. Referring to particular Mantlai-Dudu road, Sharma criticized the BJP led government as different Central Ministers laid 3 foundation stones at Mantali since 2017 for upgradation of said road but it is sorry to say that this road is in bad shape, which is closed till date after snowfall and landslide as a result whole area is cut off with the district headquarters. People of the area are facing hardship as they have to travel on foot, to cover a distance of over 50 kilometers during these days.
Criticizing the poor health facilities being provided by the government, Mr. Sharma said one FMP worker posted in Sub Centre Dudu is treating the villagers of adjoining 5 Panchayats. He said during NC-Congress government, this Sub Centre was upgraded to Primary Health centre but till date present administration has failed to even identify the land for the purpose.
