KPS distributes scholarships | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Feb 5: As a part of Kashmiri Pandit Sabha, Ambphalla education policy initiative since 1994 a function was organized in Sabha premises to award scholarship to 27 students from weaker sections of our community. The function was presided by Kashmiri Pandit Sabha President K. K. Khosa. The donations for scholarships have been funded by Kashmiri Pandit Education Trust and Sh. J. L. Zutshi. Speaking on the occasion Khosa exhorted students to work hard in order to help their families in future and build their carrier. Donors feel proud for having helped the deserving and meritorious students. Khosa felt that the help needed for poor and meritorious students needs significant and open hearted contribution by well off people in the community. He exhorted and appealed the community members to adopt a child scheme to ensure that no boy or girl in community remains unemployed due to lack of education. Zutshi, donor also wished and hoped that students will work hard and ensure merit. Ashok Koul addressed on behalf of Kashmiri Pandit Education Trust (donors) and wanted students to look for carrier oriented education. Among others who spoke on the occasion were Ashok Braroo Sr. Vice-President), Ashwani Koul (Vice-President), S. L. Bagati Gen Secretary. |
