Teachers’ organizations highlight various demands

Jammu, Feb 5: School Education Employees Coordination Committee (SEECC) today highlighted various demands of the employees of various cadres and appealed to government to consider their demands at priority.
Addressing media persons, Ganesh Khajuria, Chairman JKTF, Mohd. Akbar Khan, President JKTF and Dr. Manzoor, President JK Lecturers Forum, stressed upon the Govt. to concede the pending issues of the employees of the Education department which are creation of posts of Masters working as Head Teachers in the erstwhile SSA upgraded Middle Schools, filling up of vacant posts of all the cadres including CEOs, DIET Principals, Principals, ZEOs, ZEPOs, Senior Lecturers, Headmasters, Masters, Teachers and Ministerial staff, regularization of all the I/C cadres in the Education department under SAC decision, to handover the complete control of JKBOSE to the offices of School Education department, rationalization of the Teaching staff in hilly and far-flung areas on the basis of student enrollment and adjustment of surplus teaching staff including Lecturers, Masters and Teachers, removal of pay anomalies beside others.
Prominent among those who were a present include Surat Singh Toofani, Mohd. Shafi Rather, Darshan Sharma, Mohd. Afzali Bhat, Kuldeep Singh Bandral, Shokat Ali Beigh, Jamayat Ali Agah, Raj Singh, Kuldeep Verma, Abid Hussain Kotwal, Pir Nissar Ahmed B.A. Thoke, H.S. Pali, P.D. Singh, Narinder Jamwal, Mohd. Yaseen, Sunny Sadhu, Hanish Sharma, Ravikant, Manjeet Singh, Ghulam Nabi Sofi, Dr. Abdul Gani and many others.
