Samba, Feb 6: The leopard entangled in a wire in the forest of Mananu village in district Samba was rescued by the team of Wildlife Department and Forest Department and took it with them.
According to the Report, local people told that when they woke up, there was a sound of roaring in the forest adjacent to their village. When people went into the forest, they saw a leopard tangled with wire The people informed the local sarpanch Sunil Chaudhary and Chaudhary telephoned and informed the wildlife department and forest department whose team reached the spot and took the leopard unconscious with them. Dr. Ranjit Katoch, Range Officer Sanjeev and other personnel of the department were also present in the team.
