NSUI condemns BJP Govt for replacing J&K cadre | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Feb 6: National Students Union of India condemned the decision of BJP govt to replace J&K cadre and include the students clearing UPSC in AGMUT Cadre. The government also has decided to snatch away the 5 years relaxation rule for Jammu and Kashmir Students. The government decided end article 370 that provided special status to J&K and bifurcated the state into two union territories. They said that it is in the favour of the people of the J&K, in favour of the youth, who according to the BJP government become 'stone pelters' because of brainwashing. Prime Minister Narendra Modi promised better education opportunities and jobs for the youth. But now taking away 5 years relaxation status doesn't sum up the things they said about making things better for youth. The situations in the J&K have been tense since the independence and it had been tough for the youth to focus on studies with limited resources in such conditions. Now when five years relaxation is gone, it is going to become even tougher. Although the civil servants those who have qualified up untill 2019 will remain in J&K only, but from 2020 onwards they will come under AGMUT Cadre.
