DPS Jammu organizes blessing ceremony

Jammu, Feb 6: Delhi Public School Jammu organized a blessing ceremony and briefing session for the students of Class X & XII appearing for their Board Examination-2020. In the Briefing Session important CBSE guidelines and instructions for candidates appearing in the Board Exams were given to the students.
A Power Point Presentation and an interactive session to clear students’ queries and doubts were conducted by Arti Sharma and Sheetal Kohli. The students were explained the correct method of filing their Roll Nos. among other useful guidelines.
The Blessing Ceremony began with the lighting of traditional lamp by the Principal, DPS Jammu, Ruchi Chabra along with Headmistress, Meenu Gupta and other Coordinators. Thereafter, the students lit their candles from the lamp and solemnly stood for prayer for receiving the blessings from their enlighteners.
Principal and staff read out the blessing prayer, beseeching the blessings of God for the young school children. This was followed by a ‘Tilak Ceremony’ and distribution of sweets. Children too touched the feet of their gurus and took their blessings and best wishes abundantly. Speaking on the occasion, Principal, DPS Jammu, Ruchi Chabra urged students to take their board examination as an opportunity to discover, explore and enhance their potential.
