TAPPS celebrates Annual Sports Day

Jammu, Feb 7: To celebrate the “Spirit of Team Work” the Annual Sports Day of TAPPS was hosted today in Field Regiment Ground. The theme of this year was “Environment”, all the events signified the importance of environment and its protection. The Chief Guest for the day was Chairman of TAPPS Brig KPS Sirohi (VSM) along with the invited dignitaries.
The event commenced with the lighting of the flame followed by a beautifully coordinated PT drill and a Dry and Wet Race by the students of Nursery. Aerobics by class UKG and Yoga drills by class UKG and LKG enthralled the audience as they exhibited high levels of discipline, concentration through their well-rehearsed moves. This was followed by a relay run by LKG Students.
Amid boisterous cheers from spectators and peers the entrants put their best foot forward and made a spirit for the finish line.
The whole environment was brightened up by the beautiful cheer girls of class LKG and the enchanting grand finale by class LKG and UKG exhibiting rhythmic and graceful moves certainly made the day a memorable one. All the performances indicated hard work and the dedication of the students and the teachers-in-charge who had trained them with utmost diligence. The young champions were congratulated with medals and certificates.
