2/7/2020 11:30:36 PM

Early Times Report
jammu, Feb 7: Although the government has been making all out efforts to make Provident Fund Department online to ease out employees in reimbursement of their PF, but the concerned department seems to be non serious in making it foolproof by no uploading previous data of employees which has led to chaos.
Sources told Early Times that the details of employees, which was submitted by the employers to the department is not updated on it portal.
"It has been observed that previous data of employees, particularly of small employers has not been uploaded due to which employees have to face huge problem in getting repayment of their provident fund," they said. They further said that with this attitude of the department, the small employers are suffering huge hardship allegedly due to non cooperation of the department in updating their details, which create mess in the long run thereby employees as well as the employers face problem.
They further alleged that the details submitted by the employers in the shape of Form-12 remain unattended for months in the concerned office as a result data is not uploaded and whenever employer approach the office regarding PF issue, they are given excuse of not having details available with them due to which they have to submit the details again to the department which lead to undue harassment.
"Department had faced many charges of harassing PF subscribers by making delay in disposal of their cases. Although inquiries were also initiated yet this mal practice is reportedly going on," they alleged.
