Anti-Hindu hoardings expose ruling PTI, its leaders yet again
No place for minorities in Khan's 'Naya Pakistan'
2/7/2020 11:30:10 PM
Early Times Report
jammu, Feb 7: Leader of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf, the party of the Pakistan Prime Minister, Imran Khan, putting up anti-Hindu posters and hoardings in connection with the so-called "Kashmir Solidarity Day" has once again exposed hate of Taliban Khan towards Hindus.
The hoardings which appeared in different places were erected by a leader of ruling PTI, Mian Akram Ashan. The hoardings had the pictures of Imran Khan and the founder of Pakistan, Mohammad Ali Jinnah, on top. The slogans inscribed on hoardings were derogatory.
An analyst, while commenting on these anti-Hindu hoardings coming up in Pakistan, said, "People who are raising hue and cry about the Parliament passing Citizenship Amendment Act (CAA) to provide citizenship rights to persecuted minorities of Pakistan, Afghanistan and Bangladesh need to open their eyes and see how shabbily the minorities are being treated in these countries."
He said that these hoardings have brought the real face of Imran Khan's party to the fore and has proved it beyond doubt that Khan and his party hate minorities. "Since the day Imran Khan has taken over the reins of the country, lives of the members of minority communities have become difficult. They are facing atrocities and discrimination everywhere in Pakistan. And now they are being asked to leave," the analyst added.
According to national TV news channel Republic TV, the anti-Hindu posters appearing in Pakistan have created more fear among the members of the minority communities living there. "Nearly 200 Hindus have left Pakistan since the day these fresh hoardings have appeared," the news channel reported.
A traveller who had come from Pakistan told Republic TV that he doesn't want to return as the problems for the members of the minority communities have multiplied manifold since the day, Imran Khan, has raised the slogan of Naya Pakistan.
Pakistan and Imran Khan faced one more embarrassment when the United States Secretary of State, Mike Pompeo, named and shamed Pakistan for persecuting minorities. Pompeo condemned Pakistan for not allowing minorities to practice their faith freely. He expressed concern over such a situation arising in Pakistan.
An observer said, "Earlier Pakistan used to persecute the minorities secretly. In Imran Khan's regime extremists have been given a license to catty on with their agenda openly. Members of minority communities fleeing Pakistan is an indication that multiple agencies are working in the neighbouring country to push Hindus out."
