Vishwakarma Prakat Diwas Celebrated

JAMMU, Feb 7: Yuva Dogra Mazdoor Morcha (YDMM) organized a function on the eve of Vishwakarma Prakat Diwas at main chowk Janipur. The event organised under the chairmanship of President of Satish Kotwal and Ramesh Angotra , Convenor Vishwakarma Library, New Plot was guest of honour. President of the Morcha Satish Kotwal , told that Lord Vishwakarma is most relevant today and all should worship him. He reiterated the demand of a “Gazetted Holiday” on Vishwakarma Prakat Diwas. He congratulated Jammuites on the auspicious occasion and explained the significance of Vishwakarma Pooja in this age of Science and Technology. He said Lord Vishwakarma has created this wonderful Universe which is infinite and Scientists have succeeded to explore only a little bit of it. Joginder Angotra (Advisor) distributed the pamphlets which carried the message to the working class that they should educate their children. Through the pamphlets, the ( YDMM ) appealed that working class should refrain from all type of drugs and alcoholism. Ramesh Angotra , the Chief Guest, stated that Vishwakarma Prakat Diwas is being celebrated today throughout the country. He further added that the Day should be celebrated by all sections of society, especially those associated with industry and technical jobs.
