Jammu, Feb 8 : Police on Saturday arrested three drug peddlers with contraband of cannabis in Domana area here in the outskirts of the city.
Police spokesman said that acting on a tip-off, police apprehended three persons from Gole Gujral area in Pouni Chak.
Those arrested have been identified as Deepu Sharma of Jindrah, Sahil Choudhary of Lohri Chak and Anil Singh of Dai Chak, Jammu.
When the police search their belongings, 6 kg cannabis (Charas) was recovered. The police registered as a case under NDPS Act and arrested the trio.
Further investigations are on in the matter. |
