Jammu, Feb 8: G L S Public School, Talab Tillo, Jammu organised a felicitation ceremony to acknowledge and applaud the achievements of the students from Classes Nursery to 10th who excelled in academics and brought laurels to school in the Class 8th and 10th Board Examination. All the toppers were awarded medals and certificates of excellence in the presence of parents and teachers.
Students from various classes presented a cultural program in which they danced on patriotic, punjabi and hindi songs. Fancy dress show was also organised by the kindergarten students. Among the toppers, the most special achievers were Pavneet Kaur and Persandeep Singh, who secured 9th and 10th positions respectively in Class 8th Board Exams and Tarandeep Singh, who was awarded the “Best Student of the Year” award. Kashmiri Lal Bhat, honourable President, Gyani Lal Singh (G L S) Memorial Society of Education & Research also graced the occasion and felicitated the students.
Gurpreet Singh, administrator of the school, congratulated the achievers and thanked the faculty team of the school for their remarkable contribution and commitment.
