Jammu, Feb 14: Former Minister and BJP leader Sh Sham Lal Sharma called upon the youth to be equally conscious about their duties along with their rights and become shining examples of discipline, good conduct and moral values. He stressed that everyone must duly discharge his duty as a good citizens of this country.
The Former Minister was speaking at Prize distribution function of Kids Dream Public School,Akhnoor. Speaking on the occasion, Sharma said functions like prize distribution,annual Day not only provides students a platform to exhibit their hidden talent, but also introduces them with the culture and heritage of the state.He urged upon the students to take part in co-curricular activities side by side their academic curriculum for their overall personality development.Sham added that while he was sure that the students of the school would do well in whatever careers they choose to pursue, it would be beneficial if as responsible citizens,they contribute actively towards the harmonious functioning of the society in which they live.
Sham said that the school syllabus is becoming more activity oriented and interactive. There is a whole lot of education related industries coming up very fast offering technology and tools to make the classrooms even more interactive. What used to be merely chalk and talk classrooms are becoming an interesting environment for students to learn with fun and frolic.
However, one very critical area is still not receiving the attention it deserves. This is the Personality Development for children. |
